Doctors kidnapped in Kogi have been rescued – Police

 The Kogi state police command has confirmed the release of the two medical doctors who were kidnapped by unknown gunmen in different parts of the state on October 6 and 7.


Spokesperson of the police command William Aya said while Ejike Mgbeahurike who was kidnapped from his private clinic in Ayingba was rescued from a bush on Ayingba-Ankpa road in the early hours of Sunday October 11, Yahaya Ebiloma who was kidnapped in Ankpa regained his freedom at about 11 p.m. on October 9 when he was released by his abductors.


Aya added that the police has intensified effort to recover Mgbeahurike's car.
