Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom, his Deputy Engineer Benson Abounu and Commissioner for Finance and Economic Development, David Olofu turned out negative after undergoing a test for Coronavirus.

In a statement released by the Governor's Spokesperson Terver Akase, Ortom who expressed delight of having no new case of Coronavirus in the state, encouraged other Benue residents to voluntarily go for the COVID-19 test.


Governor Ortom likewise asked inhabitants of the state to keep watching individual cleanliness by habitually washing their hands with cleanser, utilizing sanitizers and keeping up social separating, to abstain from getting the malady.
